Originally formed in 1958, Bankstown Sports is a proud supporter of the local community, employing over 500 staff, and providing financial support to 44 local sporting clubs representing over 5000 sports people in particular juniors, 45 community organisations, 11 aged and disability services, 21 education institutions, 9 early childhood services, 4 youth neighbourhood/drop in services, 28 community activities and cultural activities and 8 health promotion activities and hospitals.
